PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Has extensive experience as a Consultant Neurologist
- Assistant Editor-in-chief for the Sudan Journal of Medical Sciences (SJMS) and the president-elect for Sudanese neuroscience society
- Associated as Vice Dean for the medicine faculty at Omdurman Islamic University
- Worked as ahead of the examination committee in internal Medicine in Sudan Medical Specialization Board (SMSB)
- Member of the curriculum committee in SMSB and Experience in teaching under, postgraduate candidates and medical education
- Served as ahead of scientific committee 2016, head of organizing committee 2018 for the Sudanese neurosciences society international conferences
- Attended several trainings, workshops, conferences and even contributed to several publications, research papers, medical journals, and case studies
- Submitted a thesis about the long-term effects of drug changes in chronic epilepsy and a systematic review about the remission and relapse rates in chronic epilepsy, which was published in the Journal of Neurology Neurosurgery and psychiatry 2012
- Submitted a thesis in seropositive rheumatoid arthritis and co-supervised a theses on multiple sclerosis, tuberculosis of the spine, herpes zoster, and subarachnoid haemorrhage with the flow chart adopted in the ER
- Supervised in precipitating factors of seizures in patients attending the ER which was accepted for publication in Khartoum Medical Journal 2018, adherence to medications in epileptic patients, case study of seizure semiology, EEG changes, and prescription of anti-epileptic drugs in current medical practice, hypertension in the first week of stroke and Assessment of autoantibodies in Gullian Barre Syndrome
- Participated in a descriptive, reference, and prospective study of 105 rheumatoid arthritis patients in Khartoum State in 2005
- Has contributions to many publications, research papers, medical journals, case studies, and academic posts in medical education
- Shared the presentation of challenging neurology cases from Sudan in March 2017 in the Pan Arab/Pan African neurology conference
