  • Held the position of Senior Assistant Professor (DU52), Department of Ophthalmology/ IIUM Eye Centre, International Islamic University Malaysia and also worked as an Eye Specialist, University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
  • Trained in Ophthalmology under supervision of many expert professors in USA at Wheaton Eye Clinic, Loyola University (Dupage Hospital), University of Illinois in Chicago
  • Participated in many courses at Agarwal Hospital in Chinnai, India including phacoemulsiphication, LASIK, and squint surgeries
