- Holds Arab Board Fellowship Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Holds Diploma in Gynecology Endoscopy in gynecological operations from the University of Virginia, France in 2000 and Germany in 2003
- Holds Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology the Arab University in Damascus in 1989
- Holds Diploma in Cancer Diagnostic and treatment of cancerous diseases via Ultrasound in Dubai, UAE
- Holds an advanced certificate for diagnosing gynecological diseases and pregnancy via ultrasound (2D, 3D and 4D) from the UAE and India
- Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from Al-Mustansiriya University, Iraq in 1981
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Has more than 35 years of experience as a Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Has performed more than 2000 cases of operative laparoscopy mainly ovarian cystectomy, salpingectomy for ectopic pregnancy, adenxectomy, adhesolysis, tubal ligation, myomectomy, and LAVH (laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomy), Diagnostic and operative hysteroscopies
- Worked as consultant in UAE for 22 years out of which last 10 years as Head of Department in a prestigious hospital within UAE
- Academically, has been involved in teaching medical students in various medical colleges including the Medical School of University Hospital Sharjah
- Member of various medical and Scientifics committees and has presented papers in various national and international forums
